Hooray, just got my original tracker and alarm certificates returned in the post ...

What was their excuse?

They had filed the originals instead of filing a copy and returning the originals. I had to FAX the certificates through at the time because they couldn't find the originals then.

I wrote half a dozen times and got no reply. Now they say that they're a telephone based company and won't write in reply to letters:eek:

Fortunately the certificates had my name and address on them, and this time someone took the time to do a thorough search of the archive. All's well that ends well:)

Sort of the same experience. I'm into my 2nd year with them and they sent me a letter, they want proof of my alarm and tracker, rang them up as sent this to them at the inception of the policy.
Not getting anywhere with the clerk so spoke to a supervisor and gave him a roasting, told him to phone tracker for confirmation as was going on me hols the next day. Like you, sorted in the end.
