taking double din out to replace with a single pioneer & secs.
i have noticed its been done so i'd like some advice please.
dealer said they have nothing to help with the conversion and the single din pocket is just for storage purposes (coins, cd's etc.)

Dave it could't be easier mate.

When the double din radio unit comes out take the two fixing plates off the side of it.

Simply fix the SECS and the new single din radio between the plates and put it all back together again.

The SECS uses a Subaru single din adaptor so the pins and holes line up perfectly. Just position the radio the same distance forward between the plates.

Easy.
