We have been formally invited to attend a RS/Cosworth Santa Pod meet on...

Sunday 13th April 2003

Here is the formal invitation....

Dear Enthusiast

Central RS Group are once again hosting their Regional Day at Santa Pod on 13th April 2003. As in 2002, there will be full concours, visiting groups, trade stands, family entertainment and track action all day long.

Gate tickets will be £10 on the day, £5 for under 16s and free for the under 12s. Full price advance tickets are available directly from Santa Pod at the reduced rate of £8 up until 7th April. There is a booking fee of £1 per ticket up to a maximum of £5, so the more tickets you order the less the booking fee becomes relatively. The half price tickets for under 16’s can only be purchased on the day.

Local groups should book their tickets through me before 1st April at the reduced price. Bookings after this date cannot unfortunately be accepted. There will be no booking fee for local groups.

Track tickets will be available for advance booking directly through Santa Pod at £15 for 4 runs, available up until 7th April. As this is a RWYB day, the only way to guarantee getting on the track will be by purchasing an advance ticket. A gate ticket must be purchased when a track ticket is purchased.

In order to increase spectator safety in 2003, it will not be possible for those on track or club stands to move between the two between 10:30am and the start of lunch and from the end of lunch until 4:00pm.

During the one hour break for lunch, there will be the opportunity to move cars from group stands to the track and from the track to group stands. All traffic will cease again at the end of lunch until about 4pm when most people start to leave.

Windscreen tickets will be allocated to local groups when you book your
stand through me. Only cars that have that ticket will be allowed into the local group area.

Santa Pod will be enforcing a strict 5mph speed limit when driving around the site. This is a family day and we do not want any accidents. Anyone ignoring this will be asked to leave. You have been warned, so please keep the speed down!

That ensures we have just over 20 places for cars in our area .

13 of these places are taken so if anyone wants to fill the remaining 7 places let me know. We also intend to have a BBQ and a couple of small Marqee type things for a bit of cover and to fly the Subaru flag from .
