Question

Fog or driving? - I'm under the impression they're a 90mm driving lamp although I stand to be corrected..

Do the lamps and surrounds bolt directly in place of OE fogs?

Anyone done the conversion???

P1 lights are driving lamps IIRC.

Toby and Andy Tang have both had the conversion on their cars.

fitted them on mine m8 and you need a pair of brackets so the smaller lights fit into the hole left by the old fog lights

Exclamation

From what I remember:

*Hella 90mm driving lamps (HID as an option)
*Specific Subaru brackets, which bolt into the existing fog holes
*Specific Subaru covers with a 90mm hole

I had to drill a couple of holes into the bumper (behind where the fog lights sit) to allow room for the 90mm driving lamp height adjusters.

Wiring them up was a fun bit!! Get hold of a load of wire and a relay or buy a Scoobysport driving lamp loom and wire those up as if they were a driving lamp kit!

As a side issue, you can use full face STI fog lamp covers and they will cover the lamps!

Hope this helps
Andy

Which 90mm lights, High Beam or low beam?
http://www.susquehanna.com/susq/hella/90mm.htm

Would there be a P1 owner willing to price these items for me?(since I've been told you need a chassis number) And possibly buy them and ship them to the U.S. if I wanted them? (since the U.S. dealers do not carry them) I would of course pay for them.

I've got the Hella part number at home for the lamps, will get these. After that you'll need brackets to hold them and the fog light covers with the holes in. Think the lamps were around £70 for the pair.
