It's the BRDA rallycross championship. Lots of mad **** cars, the super car class with silly power engines, mini's, stockhatch nova's/fiesta's etc. Will try to find their website for you The supercars are mad 500-600 bhp in a Focus etc

Gents,
I'll be there! Taking a day off work especially. Always plenty of action at these meets.

Great day Ninnybobs, nice to meet you and Harvey, his engine bay is totally bonkers Will get a pic up here soon. He said he had it rolling road tested on sat and was showing 340-360 bhp AT THE WHEELS

Any way here is a picture from someone else there (I would love to take credit for it but mine are no where near this standard)

It was amazing to see 600 bhp focuses giving it some It was very windy and cold but it was worth it. Funniest bit was watching the 1.0 mini's running after the 600 hp supercars the mini's looked like they were freewheeling down the road

Toonman - where were you sat? I have only just started doing photography and my panning technique leaves a lot to be desired at the moment

Hi Charlie

I was sat somewhere in the middle of a row, half way up in the Grandstand.

Panning's something everyone needs to practice. I'll PM Pete my phone number if you ever need any advice. I'm Head of Photography at a College in N Yorks.

Cheers

Ooh, where's this college? I've just taken up photography, I'm just down the road from Charlie too I've been giving some thought to learning more about it. I have a Cannon EOS300V. Some of my pics are in Members Gallery, might have to search a lil bit, all mototrsport too

If you live near Charlie and he's near Pete, then I guess we're too far away from you (big county and all that). We're on the edge of Smogland. There should be a College of FE near to you though, and most run Photography courses (some better than others of course). If you somehow let me know where you are, I'll check out a few.

Cheers

Bob, I fancy doing a course as well. We'll have to see what is available locally. I think Harrogate college will probably do one. My only problem is I use a digital camera and I've heard some courses don't allow digitals on the course even though mine still has all the various slr modes plus an external flash etc

Toonman - I live in the harrogate area, can you recommend any courses that might be ok for digital prosumer type cameras (Fuji S602)

C&G now do a course that you can take using either Digi or conventional cameras. I'll check on the code tomorrow. I also know TROCN do a Digital Imaging and Photography course -levels 1 and 2 (GCSE), but not A level standard as yet.

Cheers

It should cost between £45 and £75 for a 3 hr Night Class, plus exam fees.
