...fifth anniversary of Impreza ownership last Friday .
Traded up to a DBM 97MY Sport 4dr from a Primera SRi[1] around my 22nd birthday, then six months later after a pay rise at work the Sport was traded for the Turbo I still have. The clincher was insurance, was paying £660 for the Sport which rose to £750 for the Turbo, couldn't get that now for a 22yo. Expensive over the years, yes. Great fun, oh yes

Outstanding memory: my first drive of a Turbo (wiz a light blue 97MY 5dr), as I knew Greg at Anderson Cars was let out for a test drive on my tod. Gave it a bit of loud whilst coming out of the gates at their Subaru showroom in the Brig o' Don and then properly on the loud pedal on the parkway. Couldn't believe how fast it was
