Agreed Jase great goal tonight, very much like the 99 FA Cup wonder goal.

What better place to do it than in the CL and against the top team in Serie A. So much for the awesome Italian defenders we keep hearing about.

I was trying to remember the connection between the two goals and there are quite a few.

1. Giggs picks up ball just about on the half way line after a mistake by opposition midfield.
2. storms through the defending statues
3. Puts ball in back of net as Goalie looks on in wonderment

Hmmmmmm

Still - Up the Ar$e

Giggs was brilliant, though I think the best performance of the night came from Keano - I hope Fergie plays him back there more often....

Oh, and by the way, come on Ajax

Top of CL group on +1 goal diff, 1pt ahead of 3rd place and you have to play away at Valencia for your final game. That aint no walk in the park especially when u looked so ordinary last night compared with ur performances up until now.

It's a marathon not a sprint - full marks to Man U for qualifying as group champions with 2 games to spare - but what's SAF going to do - rest his stars and let them get all cocky while the youngsters get some experience - there's a real danger they'll go out in the QFs (assuming they just need to turn up in order to win - like they did last Saturday !!).

I'd rather be an Arsenal fan just now - have seen Man U get cocky before and regret it
