View Full Version : It's time! F1 season predictions here...
Re-Bitten Hero 03 February 2003, 19:38 Thanks for the constructive inputs :)
I think it will be much more interesting this year, particularly when we've got rid of traction and launch control from the British GP onwards. Then we'll see who the real drivers are, especially when it rains :):)
Andrew - any chance of getting studio feeds of the commentary over the Internet?
Btw if you think their commentary is bad, you should try the German stuff :( It's like they're reading the Sunday Newspaper Business section out loud, in a monotonic voice :( Utterly devoid of enthusiasm. Unless I can get Brundle back, I'll be listening to Five Live's radio stream...
Any more for any more?
Sal?
Cheers
Richard

Re-Bitten Hero 24 February 2003, 12:52 The season is less than two weeks away... so it's time... cast your votes now!
I want to know the final driver positions in the drivers championship, and the team positions in the constructors. 5 points for being exactly right, 2 for being one out, 1 for being two away, otherwise zero.

Re-Bitten Hero 25 February 2003, 09:12 ;) Ah, but doesn't it make it all the more fun if you don't know what the prize is? :D
C'mon... make your predictions here :)
Andy Mid. 25 February 2003, 10:53 ok - I'll have a go.
Ferrari to dominate again due to no weakness in any of the package (the b*stards ! :)). McLaren should push them closest providing Ilmor can up their game a bit. Williams seem to have a difficult car to start with but they have enough resource to turn that around very quickly. Toyota have such a redicoulusly massive budget that they can't chugg as much as they did last season but Da Matta will be their weak link. Renault, good chassis but down on power. Jaguar have a more stable structure so might surprise at a few races. Sauber to start strong'ish but fade due to lack of development. BAR to blow up a lot and struggle with politics (no change there then). Jordan to have a difficult year due to financial problems and Minardi will eat a lot of pasta and bask in the praise of getting a single point at Monaco following a 12 car pile up !
so, after that waffle, my guess is....

I don't care who will win the championships. Long gone the good days of F1.
Watch out for Toyota people.
Huxley 01 March 2003, 22:03 I thank you Chip :D:D:D:D
F1 will be as predictable as ever will be F---ing Boring:rolleyes:
And we complain about the commentators on WRC on Channel 4 but the F1 people are even more diabolically boring:eek: it’s enough to make you want to go and befriend John Prescott and co:eek:
Huxley
Andrewza 03 April 2003, 11:56 Not that I know of, Bernie's a mentalist when it comes to internet rights and F1. TV coverage might get more interesting though ;)
