hi,

looking at the scooby shop there are a few different strut braces
E-TECH Strut brace - £ 64.99
TSL Alloy Strut Brace - £170.00
Alloy Strut Brace - £105.69

IS the E-tech worth having, i'm working a seriously tight budget here, is there really that much difference?
I have a MY97 Uk Catalunya.

Thanks

Paul

Paul, imo, not a lot.

I have Whiteline braces, back and front (in a wagon) and they do a great job.

Of course, if you're using the car competitively, or do track days on a very regular basis, then the cast one-piece items will undoubtedly be a little more rigid at the margin.

But you have to be a damn good driver to notice the difference.

If you're on a budget, the cheaper options will do the job 95% as well.

Well you could put an add in the wanted section for somthing second had as there are some VERY generious people out there :D :D

however there are also people that replyies or thanks, so what can you do ;)

as for the differance between braces I think realy on the performance side there is not much differance (the differance between nothing and a brace is noticeable but between different braces I would doubt it) so it is only the looks and price which if you repaint and polish a second hand one can end up being GOOD :cool

If I get a camera you WILL get pics :)

well, i've ordered one, it was another 10 or 15 quid for a polished one, but as my engine is filthy I didn't see the point.
Hopefully get it fitted at the weekend with my HKS induction kit

:)

thankyou all.
