With all the discussions about Welsh rugby, and assuming there are a few supporters on this site, thought you might like this.... I would love to take credit for it but it was emailed to me.
Are these rumors true ????????????
Subject: Moffets Big Plan!
Blueprint for the Future.......
After today's meeting of club benefactors the following club mergers will be officially announced later:
Swansea (The Jacks) and Llanelli (The Turks) will merge and will be known as The Jerks. They will play in the new Morfa Stadium, the first home match being in September 2010.
Bridgend and Neath will merge. the merged team will be called BNeath, probably because that is where they expect to finish and not as rumoured because they are beneath contempt. Kick off times for home matches will depend on when the Bridgend supporter can make it.
Cardiff Rugby And Pontypridd will merge and the merged team will be known as CRAP. No change there for Cardiff then. All home games will be played at Pontypridd for the first half and Cardiff for the second half. A minibus will be available to transfer supporters between the two locations at half time.
Newport and Ebbw Vale will merge. The merged team will be called Port Vale and will move to Stoke-on-Trent to play Association Football. This is because the Newport forwards score more than their backs which is better suited to Football than Rugby.
