Is it easy to fit these front and rear anti lift kits? What difference would be expected with lower suspension already fitted?

Anyone bought them at a good price?

 

To my knowledge, there is no such thing as a rear Anti-Lift kit. Also, what do you mean by the "lower suspension already fitted"?

The probable answer to your question is yes, the Anti-Lift kit for the New Age car is a good bit of kit. It gives you a harder lower rear suspension arm bush with some extra static castor. This improves the feel from the wheel quite a bit, and due to the extra castor and the bush which deforms less, the steering into and out of bends feels more consistent, more planted and more predicable.

You feel you can lean on the front end more through the bends and it tells you what's going on much better.

I don't think you'll be disapointed!

There is only a front one (AFAIK!! ).

Does exactly what Matt says and is a fine bit of kit IMHO. Just got to accept a bit of noise trade off... get the comfort version if you don't want a lot of it, and the race if you want lots of fell and rigidity AND can live with the NVH.

I think the standard Anti-Lift kit bush barely makes a difference to NVH but there is a subtle change. Bear in mind the "comfort" bush is still some sort of rubber and not Poly like the "standard" and "race" bushes so is only fractionally better than the OE bush.

Matt, I was talking of the suspension itself, ie lower springs as I've had the car lowered 25mm approx. Sounds like this front anti-lift kit is the bizz (apart from the noise etc).

What's the best price you had for the front kit and did anyone have it fitted by a dealer?

Mr Shower (), I don't know the price but it is around £130 I think. I would recommend getting it done at Powerstation because you will also need the 4 wheel alignment/geometry set again.

I've had this done to both of my Scoobs now and I highly recommend it!

Matt - yup, east london meet. We have a few bugeyes including a 335bhp sti7, a p1 etc etc. The more the merrier!

 

Matt, lowering springs give some more negative camber or am I wrong?
If yes what about rear wheels where camber isn't adjustable, I mean from the factory it should be more or less -1,10 so with uprated lowering springs it will be too much negative that isn't always acceptable, right?
