Saw it on Ceefax this morning, apparently he was testing in Valencia, and he couldn't see that well, he's had an eye test and he's been diagnosed as having glaucoma, so he's calling it day. I'm sure we'll all miss him, I hope he'll still be at the Speedfreaks trackdays, with all his banter !

Apparently Casoli has retired too so the Belgarda Yamaha are without any riders for this season.

Jamie's a top fella, and I for one will miss his riding in Supersports, he has one of those god like riding styles that you really notice, hangs off so far he hardly needs a side stand. you could call thim he english Schwantz, same style, same enthusiasm for riding and 100% whenever he's on board...

Look forward to his commentating and gig's.

Gutting really, I remember watching him at Mallory on a kitted RGV250 in the old days SS400, he was class then :(
