Does any one know of a effective cleaner for the white plastic framework on a conservatory. The plastic has gone a mottled grey colour ( 2 years old ) which is road film/grime/dust. Obviously I don't want to use an abrasive cleaner such as jiff as this will scratch and effect the shine (what used to be there)....Any help appreciated..

Thompsons Upvc restorer, available from B&Q. Haven't used my bottle so can't recommend it yet.

Mog u should be able to buy a upvc cleaner from a local diy shop or try a plastics supplier that suppies fascia etc ,then once u have cleaned it with this get a bucket of warm soapy water and a chamois or tissue roll as this will remove all the cream residue and should come up nice and shiny !

Car polish, specifically "Mer", funnily enough, works like a dream!

I have a bottle of some solvent type stuff. Crap.
Haven't tried Mer, but Autoglym Glass Cleaner(not the trigger one) works really well.
