Hello all,

Im thinking of putting my blade 2000 off the road and use only for track days only.... as a license saving exercise.

A lot of my friends have now passed their tests and are buying 400's . Im 6'0 tall and feel a 400 will be too cramped, but I want a bike that will hussle with the 400's.

What shall I buy ??? A supermotard maybe, maybe not as fast top end but handle as well maybe ?? Maybe even an ex race Honda CB500 and put it on the road. !?!?!?

I also don't want to spend over £2K.

any thoughts.

I'm coming at this from the other angle - keeping a larger capacity bike on the road, and a more nimble, smaller capacity bike on track.

Should get something in a 400 half decent for £2K - and not cry quite so much if you bin on the circuit :p ;)
