Thunder77 09 June 2003, 00:15 Any northamptonshire lot or further down south convoys passing by on Sunday morning? What time? Where?
Gridlock Mikey 09 June 2003, 08:53 Flat 4, eating is cheating ;)
I have no idea regarding food etc however at the last scooby camping thing I did, folk had a choice, nip into the villiage and get summat to eat or crack out the stoves and cook in true camping stylie :D
Thanks for sending details to that chap Charlie :D
You other chaps looking for a convoy to join, could I ask that you start your own thread. It will attract more attention and you will get more replies. Welcome to the fold by the way :D
Right then, 5 more sleeps to go ;) Anyone want to cry off yet ;)
Mikey
shoud we have a group decision on this food thing? i'm all for doing it proper outdoor stylee with throw away BBQs ;) but don't want to bring 20 burgers & baps if it's just me  20 bottles of beer i can deal with ;)
kev :)
Well, now I've sourced a tent I was beginning to wonder about the food thing...especially as I've got no cooking gear. Throwaway bbqs sound good to me, unless it's raining of course.
shoud we have a group decision on this food thing?
think i've been watching too much Big Brother :D
kev :)
Velryba's chick 09 June 2003, 15:17 We are up for for some outdoor adventure :D
We have small camping gas which we'll bring and can make some teas and coffees (for the morning hang overs ;) )
We were also thinking of bringing some caned food and just heat it up, but can do BBQ as well.

Gridlock Mikey 10 June 2003, 11:17 WooHoo!!! :D :D:D:D:D:D:D:D
OK, Just spoken to Francis and she say the following:
There is a pub about a mile down the road, easy staggering distance ;)
She will cook breakfast for us if we want, in the form of butties. You can have a choice of either Bacon, Sausage, egg or any combination of the three.
BOOK YA BUTTIE WHEN YOU SIGN IN. She would like to know what you want and when in an attempt to reduce waiting times and also so she can defrost the right amount of bacon.
When you book in let her know you are part of the Subaru Crowd and she will direct you to our "Reserved" area (How posh is dat  )
Once in the posh bit, it will be a bit of a free for all as to plots and space, be considerate and try leave a space for Velryba to fall over later in the night ;)
Anymore last minute questions?
Mikey

CharlieWhiskey 10 June 2003, 16:33 Oh, forgot to mention, its a good pub and usually about get kicked out about 12.30 - 1am ish
It looks an idyllic little pub by the river that sells 'Black Sheep':D and presumably does food, so Amanda & I will not be taking any cooking equipment or food which requires cooking.
Does anyone have a large ball of string so we can find our way back to the campsite in the early hours? ;) :D
...will not be taking any cooking equipment or food which requires cooking
spoil sports :p;)
kev :)
CharlieWhiskey 10 June 2003, 16:49 I think a certain antipodean based moderator will testify that I am one of the 'pub food supremo champions' ;) :p
CharlieWhiskey 10 June 2003, 16:50 And it makes it less of a walk to the bar ;) :D

Right you horrible lot
Have had a major session timing a decent route and have had to chop loads out If we are gonna get to do the NYM justice and get to the campsite early enough than we have to be on the case!
Therfore it is 10:00 for 10:30 departure from Woodhall Services! Dont be late or we will leave without you!
I know it is early for some of you, and me! But it will be worth it
CW
btw if anyone wants to revisit the Moors after this 'preview' I can thoroughly recommend it and will be only too happy to point out the numerous highlights (it took me 3 1/2 days last year and I'm still finding more!)
We will distribute the route at woodall :D
