Have had a major session timing a decent route and have had to chop loads out :( If we are gonna get to do the NYM justice and get to the campsite early enough than we have to be on the case!

Therfore it is 10:00 for 10:30 departure from Woodhall Services! :eek: Dont be late or we will leave without you!

I know it is early for some of you, and me! But it will be worth it ;)

btw if anyone wants to revisit the Moors after this 'preview' I can thoroughly recommend it and will be only too happy to point out the numerous highlights (it took me 3 1/2 days last year and I'm still finding more!) :D

A suggestion to all!

Get a map/road atlas and if you have a passenger, get them to FOLLOW the route as we drive along it, even if you are car three in a 5 car group. Do not rely on being able to stick with the car infront (Not a speed thing but cos of roundabouts, traffic, traffic lights etc) If someone is following the route on the map, then even if you get hopelessly lost, you will be able to meet up at a later point by making your way to an intercept point further along the route. Make sense? Remember it won't be just yourself that gets lost but everyone behind you ;) If you are travelling alone, you really have to have your wits about you. As soon as you are lost STOP. Look at your trip meter, work out where you should be, take stock and come join the fun again.
Also, i found that it helps to accept that you WILL get lost at least once every 50 miles ;) It's normal so don't let it spoil ya enjoyment :D Besides, it makes for excellent campfire banter :D:D:D:D:D "Can't believe you got lost on the motorway!!!"

Dont think I can make the camping thing. Its all going the way of the pear at work and the other half's sister is having here hen night on saturday and I'm under the thumb for driving duty.

Hopefully I'll still be there on Sunday tho.
