I can never support a sport in a contrty that has WORLD WRESTLING, WORLD SERIES a WORLD Other Stuff but only lets teams Join from the USA.

I hate this.

 

Never mind the result, what were the adverts like? I was in the States last year when the superbowl was on, and ended up getting rather drunk with a colleague and complete strangers who invited us to their "party" in the hotel we were staying at.

The "network management is like hearding cats" was my all-time favourite. Or should that be "favorite"

So my team lost (boooo), but Britney at half almost made it worthwhile staying up till 3am.

Also a good excuse to drink lots of beer!

 

I used to love watching American football in the good old days when it was on C4, but being one of the second class citizens who doesn't have Sky, or cable or digital or even channel bloody 5, I'm now deprived of that particular pleasure. There will come a time in the not too distant future when the only "sport" on normal tv will be the Little Bumstead Sunday cricket championship! And I bet that'll be hosted by Ainsley bloody Harriet.
