I have the above alarm, and it's arming and dismarming fine, all the required bleeps and stuff go off, but its only turning over. Battery is fine, peccy is fine, engine is dry, but it won't start.
I know its a long shot, but has anyone had a problem like this, and can it easily (and cheaply) be fixed?
It seems to me like the immobiliser part has immobilised, and won't reset. Arse.

Try removing the negative terminal of the battery for a little while, put it back on and see what happens. Just a suggestion.

As daft as it sounds, check the immobiliser fuse... I had this last week when I messed up my ICE install.....

might be worth a go....

Thank god I am not the only one. Just picked up our WRX on Saturday and are experiencing the same problems. We can only seem to solve it by a combination of opening & closing of doors and pressing alarms key fob. Any solution would be greatly appreciated as it is doin' my 'ead in!!!!!

I didnt think you could turn it over with the sigma on??mine is totally dead when the immobiliser is on.

Have a look in your sigma manual and see if you can reset your alarm, btw you might need your pin number.

Cheers for the help guys, it turns out, rather embarrasingly, that the alarm was just a bit damp. Lots of floods down here in Essex, bit too much moisture got into the system i reckon.
Let it dry for a day, coated the lot in WD40 and its sorted.

I called the AA when my Clifford went tits up - it just turned out to be a fuse that was slighly lose. So if youve got cover call em up and act dum "Der my car wont go" style.

Or maybe this is a British Leyland issue eh Beef ;)
