I think I once saw a thread on here about cleaning the boost solenoid out to stop it ticking, think it was putting carb cleaner or thinners in one of the pipes....
any one know what I'm on about ?

Cheers

Dean you can try putting brake cleaner fluid(DO NOT CONFUSE WIT BRAKE FLUID) into all ports and then firing the car,if you beleive its not working properly.Ticking as I'm sure you know does not implie malfunction

Er, dont use brake cleaner, it melts the rubber seal inside and sticks it even more, but be aware that they do "click" as normal,if you want to make then less noisey, try mounting them on something softer as it is the mounting that causes the noise transmission
