I wonder if any knows any firms for a good quality but cheap Alarm system (am I asking the impossible?-I fondly imagined about £200 might do). It doesnt have to be cat1- its gonna be going in my unmodified MY96 5 Door-not the most nickable Impreza! Just want something that will make a loud noise when toerags try to steal it and doesnt go off every 5 secs when a leaf falls from a tree!

If any installers are reading I have a small problem in that I have a fairly tight schedule for fitting as I am only back in the UK for 3 days- 3rd, 4th and 5th of Jan. I'm fairly flexible as to location I'll be setting off from Blackpool and going to Brighton so can stop any where en-route for the install! MERRY CHRISTMAS

Interested at £250 sounds like a good price- problem is I guess your in B'ham- which limits time I can visit to 2nd Jan or poss 3rd at a push? How long does the work take? Is it possible to an "as you wait job" as I can imagine its pretty involved job. I'll give you a ring on the 27th to discuss it (back in Uk then) if you can't get back via the board.
