Just about to put up some replacement wall lights, but the wires are red, black and green, so I'm confounded. I'm guessing live, neutral and earth. Anyone know for sure?

Red is live - so goes to brown
Black is neutral - so goes to blue
Gree in earch - so goes to ..... earth ;)

Don't know what happened to my typing there - but the colours are right !
