Unhappy

I had Eibachs fitted about 4 weeks ago at TSL and everything was fine. Handling was excellent and the ride was great. Car has now done 18000 miles 2000 of which are on Eibachs

Earlier this week I thought I heard a knocking from the NSR suspension but dimissed it as paranoia. As the week has gone on it's got worse. Today I went over a speed bump for the first time and it sounded awful there was a really loud knock then creaking noise from the back end.

I got out and bounced the car up and down a few times and the creaking noise went away. As soon as I drove off over a bumpy piece of road though the noise returned. Since then everytime I go over a bump it starts to knock and creak.

I don't really want to use the car if it's going to fall apart on me. Has anyone got any ideas please ?

Cheers

Nathan..

Thumbs down

Really, can I do that then

I tried phoning them at the time but they were closed funnily enough as it was Saturday afternoon. I thought someone might have known what it was from prior experience so I didn't have to worry about using the car over the weekend.

Thanks anyway.

Nathan,it may just be a loose top mount that often happens. If you're unlucky you may have the dreaded STi affliction(see thread STiuk suspension rattle)
