AS you can tell, I'm getting pretty wound up about this rattle, and there are clearly others as exercised as me. I think it was you who suggested going to an independent suspension specialist to call for a report, in response to previous threads?? Are you able to advise, please, whom you'd recommend and a contact?? SE England would be best, for obvious reasons!!!
While we're about it, you dont happen to know the name of the MD of S-UK do you??? I feel a pompous (and angry) letter coming on...:D
TIA

Phil,
I'm not certain which position he holds but I think the guy you're looking to write to is Ed Swatman!
Matt :)

You should follow it up with a letter, as letters are still treated with a greater seriousness than emails. I bet he doesn't reply to the mail, but I understand he usually does with a letter. Don't expect a useful reply though!!!! :(

Mail - as in Snail :) (By FAX, actually, but formal format). He knows ('cos I told him) that others will be interested in his reply, so not to reply isn't - I trust - an option!
Cheers,

Be prepared to get back a cleverly worded document which sounds like it's saying what you want to hear without commiting to anything. IM are good at those!!! :(
Matt.
P.S. It's like getting a letter back from your MP, it's basically a very polite, well written "feck off and leave me alone" letter without actially saying so...

Don't worry m8. I'm expert at spotting those, having spent some of my career drafting Parliamentary answers for Ministers:D:D:D With any luck, the drafting of my letter will carry the implied message that I can handle words of two syllables: and he knows that other owners will hear what he has to say to me. He may conclude that it might be counter-productive to bulldust me!!
Having said which...
Yeah, you're right, I'm not sanguine about this:( Mind you, all I - and a significant number of others - want is my 27.5 grand Motor to stop rattling.... not a lot to ask!!

i suggested going to an independant manufacturer. You will just have to try the usual suspects and see if they are prepared to give it a trial fit for you.
