London Racer - Unhandled Exception

Hi all.
Got London Racer on XP (which is the prob i think) and game loads up OK but when you go to actually start the driving this error comes up (unhandled exception) so can't go london racing
A bit of a long shot but can't find anything on the net and thought I'd just try here before taking it back.
