I found the same thing with GTA 3, did all the missions but still had 40% odd to complete! There are so many extra things to do: vigilante, rampage, buying assets, etc.

One nice tip I found: stop car by hooker, wait for her to get in, drive somewhere quiet (beach, back street, etc.) and then wait for magic to start!!...car starts rockin and health increases to 125!

Initially, you may think it's not worth it.

But play it some more, and you'll find it has lots more depth to it..

and there are helicopters to fly, even an Apache gunship .. muwhahaha

Tommy, start to go as fast as you can, head for the highway and keep a steady medium speed! if you can keep this speed then when you reach near enough the docks, the band will realise what to do! you pass thorought he docks and the bomb is defused, you then drive to the gig and drop them off! FIN

Guys, anyone know how to do the mission where you have to retrieve the biker boss's stolen harley?? The pink dot where the bike is seems to be in a wall???

This one is easy..... to begin with.

Get a bike. Head north past the firestation. Go fast...

There is a ramp on the right (its a staircase). Ramp of it onto the roof of Amunation.

The boss's bike is down some stairs on the other side. But there are many baddies between you and the bike and they have guns!

Mr Whoopee can be found at Cherry Poppers in Little Havana. And the pizza boy bikes can be found at the Well-Stacked pizza joints.

this game is superb!!

 

My fella's brother has done all his missions and can't find anything else to do even though it says that he's only completed 52% of the game. He doing the taxi, vigilante, ambulance, fire engine missions and still collecting the hidden packages but it's all pretty boring now. Any ideas or is this it?! BTW, me and fella aren't as good and are still pretty much at the begining of the game so we have plenty of interesting stuff to do!!!

 

Pull long wheelies and stoppies on the motor bikes for bonus cash.

 

I've not actually got it yet, is it a big enough advance on GTA3 to justify buying?

 

definatly worth getting! get a chopper and fly over onto the other side then kill about 10 people and ride off on the bike! after that your work is nearly done with lovefest, exept you have to drive a limo with a speed bomb on it! i am now on the mission where you are working for yourself and you have to smash up the mall so they pay protection! i cannea do it! any tips?

Switch, I'm just about to try Limo mission with speed bomb, what do you have to do?

Re smashing up shops in mall: do a loop round lower level shooting up windows, then a loop round upper level.

 

You still have a large percentage left to do as you have to buy houses and businesses. When you buy businesses then you effectivly have missions to do for yourself to assist in the running of the business.

Try it, there are some great ones to do.

I hear that the Getaway is the mutts nuts 15 mins real time to drive from one side of the city of london in the game to the other....seen the ad on tv it looks hot!!!! cant wait dec 18th i think....

 

heres another tip, if you see a cop chasing a robber, stop and help him by punching the robber in the face (dont shoot him!) and get a nice reward

 

MrDBM, In one of the missions, you get a police uniform, while wearing it, get in a helicopter and fly to the army base. On the very north side of the base is where the apache is at. Also, once you have found all 100 hidden packages you get it.

eat the pill by the steps before you go on the roof. slows the action down to give you time to pick them off. also, start from the righthand side. when the line of reinforcements come running in, shoot the lead guy as this makes the others pause for a second. picking them off in line stops them reaching their destination.

OK what about the death row mission, where you have to rescue lance from the baddies at the yard. I can get there kill everyone no problem, but it's when I try to leave, and another batch of baddies appear. I can hide and take most of them out, but they seem to respawn and cause me loads of grief !

996, as soon as I rescued Lance I picked off any baddies left nearby and then jumped into car parked next to shed and got outta there at high speed! There might be a more scientific approach but that worked for me!

 

I'm so addicted to this game, I played it all day yesterday after being off work all day with an...ahem cold.
