Rusty Festa 29 November 2002, 21:15 It's booked into Robinson's for first thing so my two questions are:
How do I get there? (travelling south down M6)
and secondly, what is there to do in/around Rochdale whilst my service is being done? - I am getting a run around (STi7would be nice ;)
Cheers, Jon

seejay555 30 November 2002, 15:40 Take someone to translate for you ;)
FASTER MIKE!! 30 November 2002, 18:41 you`ll probably get a justy  the slowest car ever built.... but it is 4wd
STi wanna Subaru 30 November 2002, 18:43 You'll get a Micra. Mine had its 45K service this week. I went down to the Trafford centre while mine was being done........not much to do in Rochdale
Rusty Festa 01 December 2002, 14:31 My thanks to John @: Robinson's for letting me have micra for all of three miles, but i took it straight back as I did not like it, that and we had done complete tour of Rochdale.
John suggested we could pass the time by going to the seasonal ice skating rinq which I thought was a good idea having never done it before.....yep, you guessed it, I have broken my arm :(
Not sure what is worse - that I can't drive the Scooby or that Tia can and now won't stop driving it  :D :D
not sure if I will be attending any meets on the 11th now :(
PS. Thanks to John, Matthew and the service team @ Robinson's, I was very impressed and will be back in about three months for my 66k ;)
alanjack 01 December 2002, 23:41 I wouldn't give Robinsons any kind of praise.
They are ok when you spend, but try and get something out of them and you're in trouble. I wrote to them asking for an explanation of my "account" on the 6th of October and heard nothing in 7 weeks.
My pal Paul has had his car in there since the end of June 02 (because they haven't a clue on how to build gearboxes) and he'll be lucky to get it back by Christmas.

This loss of grip you suffered from : sure it wasn't fuel surge .... ?
Bad luck mate, but I couldn't help but laugh ! :D
milne555 02 December 2002, 00:35 Rusty,
Sorry to hear about your arm mate, You should have gone to SG Petch in Richmond as their Courtesy cars are 02 model Sports, and there is not an ice rink in Richmond :D ;)
Cheers
Dave
