I have a MY99 5-Door, can anyone tell me what size the original speakers are in the front and rear doors? Dont want to remove door cards just to find out and then have to put em back on again

6 or 6.5 will fit in the fronts with some playing - rears, sorry dunno let me know when you find out :)

The FAQ (http://www.chiark.com/scooby/icetoc.asp) has some helpful stuff in it. Might be worth a look?

up-graded all speakers in my MY98, size of fronts is 5.25" and rears is 4".

The JL Audio setup I installed took a bit of work to fit, but was definitly worth the effort. Had to alter the front end pods a little as the speakers were just a tad too deep for the window.

As people have said, 6" will fit, but make sure the speaker is not too deep and does not interfere with the window being wound down.

4"? eek! Did you try fitting anything bigger?

They are only for light rear-fil, and besides the quality of JL gear is exceptional ! (plus, I dont sit in the back of my car;)
