UK PS2 and games from Singapore - will they work

I've got a NEO 2.2 chipped PS2 connected to a Sony Wega 100hz tv and my dad's bought me some games from Singapore (He says they're £6.50 each, so who knows whether they're original or not).
Will they work okay?
