thought it was about time i declared my mods,

panel filter
full decat
P1 front splitter
18's
clear indicators

they only added £290 to my premium :rolleyes: Not best pleased!! Is this a bit steep??

By the way, you dont wanna know how much my premium is at the moment!!

its probably due to the decat giving a performance boost.

18s can't help either :p

I was insured with 'bout 2 months ago (21 on standard P1 with no NCB etc) was paying £2800 (which was cheapest by far!!!) rang up for a quote for adding a full system and de-cat pipe...would have gone up to (if I was stupid) to £3600!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No your ripping yourself off. What makes me laugh is why people tell the insurance they have an ITG and CLEAR indicators they add no value to the car and the filter gives virtually no performance increase over the original paper filter.
The wheels and any parts which significantly add value or performance i agree with, next people will tell them they have added fancy dust caps and how much for these to be added to my policy.
