I enquired about these from Lockwood, the manufacturer of white dial kits. they told me they would be making a kit for the new age but Ive yet to see it on the market as I would be interested also. As I already have the Defi 3 gauge pod with white dials. You could try them to see if they are any further forward.

Spoke to a guy in Nottingham who makes the white dials (luminescent) one`s that you can change the backlight from blue to green. I have seen them and they are stupendous!. He dosn`t know if there is enough interest for these in the new age to tool up for...so if anyones interested I might persuade him to do us a group buy. I don`t mind organising this if I can get enough people interested..let me know! By the way I have no other interest in this company, it`s just that Iv`e seen them and I want a set!

Guys,

I bought a set of electro-luminescent dials from Nomad Racing 6 months ago (Think they are in Nottingham also, so possibly the same guy as Active has spoken too) and they are superb, they cost me £120 which, compared to the lockwood dials, are expensive but when you see them at night they are worth every penny, never thought I would enjoy night driving so much! You have loads of different shades of Green and Blue to choose from (about 20 different ones). Also they are a piece of p**s to fit as they slip over the existing dials, so there is no need to remove any needles, as with the Lockwood dials, so no chance of breaking any guages. I don't have pics at the moment but could take some if you want.

Cheers, Steve.

I have now found a supplier in the USA who does them cheaper, eight different colours switchable from a control box, I`m trying to do a deal at the moment. Will keep you informed.

Not too bothered that the speedo only reads to 140mph...don`t do it that much!..lol more interested in the white dials and multicoloured back lit display to match the green display on my Defi gauges.

Mine (MY97 turbo 2000) does look much improved with lockwood white dials although there r risks associated with such a procedure but dont let me scra eu off Previous dial question (http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?ThreadID=161022) & i put a link 2 another thread but as far as search goes try lockwood &/or dial, white etc. Cant fink which suppliers do the lockwood uns but if u do a search for lockwood dial uk subaru on google u get Google search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=lockwood+dial+uk+subaru) Mook on this board also does sum rather fetching dials & if u do the searches i mention on scoobynet u will kum across his profile no doubt ;)

On the larkspeed website, they have the white dials and it also says that they have some where you don't have to take the needles off. Have a look at http://www.larkspeed.com/pages/productpages/styl_lockwood.html.
