On my commute to work yesterday (Friday 22 Nov) I observed a recovery type vehicle with two obviously fresh (unregistered) Jap imports. One was on top of the flat bed whilst the other was being towed with its front wheels off the ground.
The towed vehicle was a red 4 door saloon imprezza with the following; gold wheels, low type boot spoiler, rear wiper,Sti in pink sticker in the middle at the top of the back window, massive exhaust, small wind deflector 1-2 inches wide from the front A post to the rear (both sides), aerial positioned on the rear LHS quarter panel, small red light under rear bumper on RHS.
I observed this from Dundalk to almost Balbriggan going south at speeds of at least 60mph. I cannot confirm that said vehicle was AWD as I could not see the rear diff but all the rest certainly looked like Sti material.
My understanding is that towing as above screws the diffs so be careful if you are considering buying said machine. I do have the name of the company who own the tow vehicle but don't want to jeopardise the site by naming them. If you are interested drop me a line.
