I have brought some Mintex 1155 pads for the Scooby. They will be used with new Grp N discs.

I have the following part number for the Mintex:

MDB1647M1155

Is the above part number right??

Also I have the Goodridge Brake Lines:

ZZEG0230-004

Is the above correct for the lines?

I want to make sure, cos I dont want my mechanic to start work on the car, then find out the parts are wrong.

1155's are hard road/track day pads, so if thats what you were after you`ve got the right pad

I had 1144`s but they weren't hard enough for me(faded when hot), going for the Ferodo 2500`s next

Rich.

Vinesh....correct on both counts.

Mintex 1155's are perfect for fast road/ track needing very little warm up....

Mintex dedicated track pads are 1166's or one step further at 1166 F's

I must admit I was always adamant on Ferodo DS2500 (equal to 1155's) or DS3000 (track use only) but I found they didn't last as long as Mintex...i.e; Ferodo = 2 trackdays compared to Mintex @ 3 trackdays

Cheers.

I wanted DS2500, but there is a couple of days wait and I need the pads for Monday. Plus I got the Mintex very cheap.

Is the part number correct for the Mintex, only reason asking is because on GGR website the part number refers to STi V3/4.

I think for the four pots you need MDB1416 -- they look like this:

At least, that's what I got.

Mintex have a good product database at www.mintex.co.uk

The part number of the Goodridge hose kit for a classic shape is SSU0201-4P. For my car, an Impreza MY01 WRX, the part number for the hose kit is SSU0500-4P.

Hope this helps

Regards

Steve
