In my glovebox there is a small keypad, which i assume is alarm related. I got no instructions with the manual for it, & the garage have been no help. What is this/How does it work etc. Any help appreciated.

That'll be the keypad for the Sigma alarm, through which you can disarm it in the event of a remote failure and also program various features. Subject to having the correct PIN of course. Others may well be able to tell you more about it as all I do is take them out in preparation for installing Clifford kit (-:
