OK, so I have managed to get my tickets at last without the need to go to Cardiff and pick them up.

Got tickets for Saturday, I've never been to the GB and wonder how much I will actually get to see on the day. I know that there are a few stages, but will I get to see them all or will I have to choose one or two. There seems to be some big distances between the stages, will this mean it will be impossible to see the end of one stage then get to the next before it starts!!??.

I know I may sound really thick but I would really appreciate your help here.

Saturday's leg is a 34 mile blast through Resolfen forest with an early start and then two stages in the Brecons.

There are 17 places to watch the action.

The event passes are supposed to be matched to specific stages. Special car parks are reserved for event ticket holders, so, in theory, you should be able to park at one stage, see all the cars through that then join the convoy to the allocated carpark at the next stage and watch that one.....

It's a lovely theory that works in a nice warm office, and probably cost a lot of money to develop!
But....
It's complete ****e really isn't it?!?!

I managed to avoid the Sh$t about getting tickets, was told that I had to pick up from Cardiff but got home yesterday to find that they arrived by post!!!.

It really does not seem to be that well organised and I am getting more confused as time goes on. Can I ask one more question before I go and hide somewhere. I have event 2 tickets for saturday, does this mean I can watch all stages, starting with Resolfen and ending with SS in cardiff?????

Aust, you'll never make all the stages without a helicopter. Best you could probably hope for is two or three stages in a day.

Expect to spend around 1 hour in total walking to/from the parking to the stage. Add in loads of traffic and to make three stages a day you have to leave after you've seen the first 10 cars go through.

Many thanks Chris, going to settle on a couple of stages and then the ss in cardiff!!!
