Hi Sal,
To get the increments you need do the following.
1) You need to be in "FM" mode =
"func" key, then "step" key, scroll to get "FM" and press enter. You should have FM now.
2) To get the small increments you need with those frequencies = press "step" and then scroll to get 6.25kHz channel spacing (top left hand corner), then enter.
You should now be able to enter the freqs exactly and get crystal clear reception of McCrae crashing out :)
Have you sussed out how to add the channels into memory?

I haven't quite got the scanner sussed yet but my boyfriend seems to be getting there. Am I right in thinking you can't save freqs in increments of .05Mhz but that it rounds it up to the next number ie: 123.45675 becomes 123.45680? Is that the closest I can get?

I have a Realistic 200 Channel Direct Entry PRO-43 scanner. Anyone any idea how to enter those fiddly long frequencies, please?

These scanners sound like a good idea, where can I get one from and how much do they cost?
