I know its been asked a hundred times or more, but any recommendations for a 30k service in the Herts/Beds/Bucks area?

I would't have thought you'd save a right lot over that!

 

I was expecting about 350 - 400, so i suppose it's not far off

Probably a bit far outta your way but Cheam Motors (not far for Jnc 10 M25) or Mill Lane in Basingstoke would probably pip that price. By the time you've driven there though its probably no cheaper!!

Yep, unfortunately around 400 is about right for the 30k as its all the fluids replaced eg, brake, oil, coolant, power steering etc etc.....

Just phoned a few others, and it turns out that 410 is the best anyway!

Had mine done at Mill Lane Basingstoke a few weeks ago. £450, which I thought was quite cheap. I was expecting 500 - 600.

Just had my 30k and £410's the official dealer price, i think.

 

My car is shortly due to have it's 30k (though with only 15K on the clock)

Lancaster (sevenoaks) want £500!!!!!

Spring Park (West Wickham) want £425!

What the hell is going on. I don't mind paying alot for a service (or anything when I have to) but I'm not happy when I see huge differences in the standard charges.

Has anyone else noticed the same with big price differences considering these garages are both pretty close to me.
