Looks like decat is the way forward, so next week, I want to get this done. I have a SS backbox, so need just the decat centre and downpipe - I live in London who will supply and fit this for next week (pref Magnex as it seems to be reasonably priced and performace seems to be rated)

Got my full de-cat from Scoobysport (http://www.scoobysport.co.uk/default.asp).

When I was there last weekend Pete showed me the new box they are having made. It looked fantasitc quality.

subaru 4 you in theale, berks, will supply and fit H&S decat and centre, i had the decat and up pipe from them, real difference in sound and performance.

sounds good - how much did it all cost u?

is the up pipe the same thing as a down pipe?

I've also heard u should get flames (with an atomos dump valve)

Downpipe is 205 + fitting (about 85), up pipe is 95 + fitting, about same again,

do the downpipe first, up pipe is different, and connects into the turbo from the manifold, gives a slight increase in performance.

not sure about the flames though, depends upon individual car, i have a recirc dv so nothing from me, definate increase in performance though
