Anyone know the best way to remove the heater vents/controls on a 94WRX. I wanna get them off to paint them. I can get the centre vent unclipped and out about 1/2 an inch but it doesn't seem to want to move any further.

To remove air vent fascia from the centre of the dashboard - remove the two screws just underneath the air vents and carefully pull air vent fascia off.

Remove the three adjustment control knobs.

Remove the two screws from the heater control back plate (the fascia with the control pictures on!).
