Is fitting a turbo boost gauge easy, being not very mechanically minded.I dont want to be pissing about with the turbo as Ive only had the car a week or so.
Y2k(V) Turbo Bus AWD(uk)

By the way, dont mean to sound like a twat, but what BHP is my model supposed to have.Is it 215bhp.

Thanks

would suggest if you are not too keen on fitting yourself, to take to someone who knows what they are doing, as if you instal into the wrong pipework, you may create more problems than you need.
engine bhp is as you thought.

getting out of the engine bay is easy. There's a handy rubber bung near the clutch reservoir. You can make a small hole in it (with a thin piece of stiff wire) and pull the pipe through it. Route the pipe away from hot things!!

As for getting the pipe to the A pillar, it may be easier to to take the lower dash panel off to see what's behind there, as my car is bound to be different to yours!

Might be a bit late, but a handy hint (I fitted a pillar mounted gauge on Saturday, with a little help from Scoobynet users!!)

I hate taking dashboards / panels apart so..... there is an obvious gap in the corner of the dash where it meets the windscreen. If you gently poke a stiffish piece of electrical wire down it.... when it appears in the footwell have a look up under the dash to make sure its got a clear path...... then tape the end of your boost gauge pipe (which you've already pushed throught the hole into the engine bay by the clutch pedal) to your wire, and draw it through the dash up through the hole. Takes about thirty seconds!!
