After the tragic loss of his dad, some of us thought of having a Sunday Lunch with Young Keith Paterson read here (http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?ThreadID=143182&ForumName=Scotland&ForumID=28) this coming Sunday.

Place to decided later, but most likely the Feughside Inn Hotel at Strachan Map (http://www.multimap.co.uk/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=367000&Y=792000&scale=25000&width=500&height=300&gride=&gridn=&coordsys=gb&db=&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=) handy for a possible Sunday drive over the Cairn o'mount.

Names as normal, by Saturday Lunchtime, below as normal

The Feughside is actually a wee way past Strachan (or Stran as we say ;)) - see other map (http://www.multimap.co.uk/map/browse.cgi?X=365000&Y=792000&width=500&height=300&client=public&gride=364689&gridn=792253&srec=0&coordsys=gb&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=AB316NS&advanced=&scale=25000&out.x=8&out.y=11)

I'll try to come along if I can.

Ken,

Rob & Clair, Brian & Karen, Arlene & I are all coming. Yet to speak to Shaun G and Paul M, but I’m sure they will come along as well.

A second venue has been talked about amongst the girls when the boys where away at the motor show. Seems the 4-mile in Kingswell is the place to go for a great lunch and a sharp price. Rob and Clair don't have too much time, as they are having new kitchen fitted, so this may work better. What you think?

The local gang are meeting at mine at midday, so we could hook up with you then and head wherever we end up going.

I might be off-line for the rest of the day, can someone drop me an e-mail once the plans are finalised and tell me where and when we will meet up. I'll be coming through from Peterhead.

Hi everyone,

Id like to thank you all very much for lunch yesterday. I had a superb day with you all. Im touched to have such a great group of friends. Today is my first day at work properly and I better get going because dad is not here now to tell me to get off of Scoobynet. Your all very special people and will never forget the kindness you have given me.
Thank you,
Keith Paterson.

KP,

Glad you enjoyed yourself and that we could bring some smiles to the day. Too many laughs to mention, least of all the Sti 5, type R that couldn’t make up it’s mind if it wanted petrol or not! What is it about these two door Impreza’s we hang about with I wonder? Just when you think we have the "mad P1" hemmed in safely in middle of the group; enter KAZ and let the mayhem commence...Much fun with big laughs.

Having 11 cars lined up at the 4 mile was impressive and the run back to Inverurie more so. My mate who lives on the side of Skene Loch called me last night and said it was great to see the two Sti 7’s, P1 and type R come by and as we disappeared (rather quickly) from sight he could see and hear Ken Ross and the second group, with five cars, heading to the Lyne of Skene about ½ mile North on a different road. Said it was marvellous to hear the boxer engines heading through the country roads in stereo effect.

Coffee, Tea and more laughs at the house to conclude a smashing day out With KP and friends. Here’s to the next Sunday meet at the end of November...on the slopes at Glenshee or the Lecht. As Ken said, someone better call casualty now; and tell ‘em were coming to play for the day. Can’t wait...
