See www.msaevents.co.uk (http://www.msaevents.co.uk) for the staffing officers details or www.networkqrally.com (http://www.networkqrally.com) for an unofficial site for marshals. Paul.. [Edited by RallyMarshal - 10/22/2002 12:41:06 PM] Richard Askew 22 October 2002, 14:14 Cheers - problem being fixed as we speak!! Steve_H 22 October 2002, 14:47 Rich hope you manage to sort something out with Steve Durbin, I'm sure he'll be glad of your offer to marshall on Rheola.... see you on the ice....... Steve H. prodriva 20 May 2003, 13:29 For your info, if anyone wants to marshall at the Rally GB you have to be a registered marshal on the MSA/FIA register. Gone are the days of just turning up and offering your services im afraid :( For more specific Rally Marshal info, visit www.rallymarshal.co.uk (http://www.rallymarshal.co.uk) [Edited by prodriva - 5/20/2003 1:33:26 PM] RallyMarshal 20 May 2003, 17:19 Thanks Prodriva ;) Hope you like my site. The 2003 Wales Rally GB will again utilise only the services of marshals who are registered with the MSA marshals registration and grading scheme. There is a good definition of this at http://www.rallymarshal.co.uk/information.asp?id=5. There are 2 staffing officers this year - full details to be announced shortly. Thanks Paul Rees Wales Rally GB Marshal Liason [Edited by RallyMarshal - 5/20/2003 5:19:43 PM] Arron 01 July 2003, 08:34 So what grades are all you guys. Arron. J4MES 02 July 2003, 09:46 Erm... the middle one I think. Grade 2? Haven't really bothered to upgrade or whatever you do. But I have been chief marshal on oone of our clubs events, and I am safety officer for the next rally we are running in September. As well as being you common or garden bib wearing marshal on a few events. RallyMarshal 02 July 2003, 12:51 James... I wouldnt have said your common at all... maybe garden but never common ;) To answer the post.. grade 1 BTW - I now believe that grandfather rights for the Marshals Registration has now ended and therefore anyone registering now has to enter the scheme at grade 3 and work upwards (as should have happened in the first place IMHO). Paul.. J4MES 12 July 2003, 17:22 Cheers Paul. :D I think! So will everyone be wearing their brand spank me new MSA marshal bibs?! I got mine the other day after giving up all hope of ever getting one. Incidently, the letter says to read the instructions on how to look after it. Erm... where are they?! Aart 13 July 2003, 23:53 Think we'll have a special tab again? Wouldn't like the human wasp to use his marker on the MSA tab... Aart 19 August 2003, 13:59 Is this Forum being read by anyone? RallyMarshal 19 August 2003, 18:45 Yes, quite a few people... Paul.. Aart 07 September 2003, 17:26 It would have been nice if the MSA would accept licences from other ASN's... FIA drivers licences are valid everywhere, but marshals licences only in the country of issue; strange isn't it [Edited by Aart - 7/9/2003 7:43:48 PM] |
