I'm listening to it on 5 live. It sounds pretty dull.

It was appalling. Quite honestly one of the worst games I have seen in a long time  The ground was not even half full....22100. Glad I am not a Villa Supporter!

Didn't even watch it and I watch almost all premiership games, including Premiership Plus, much to the missus' annoyance, but this game had boring written all over it and it looks like I was proved right. Dalziel and Pascoe on the beeb was far more entertaining! ;)

There is definitely a 'crisis' at Villa methinks. At the end of the game - the few fans that were left were booing :(

That was dire, half empty stadium, Taylor shaking his head, did he not like that, attrocious football, if you can call it that, from both sides, you can see why the fans want Ellis/Taylor out and I thought Utd were playing badly :(

I noticed that Taylor didn't like Andy Gray's comments very much about Alpay

I think both Villa and Sunderland are in trouble this season. They have, IMO, completely outdated managers, easily two of the worst, if not the worst, in the Premiership...

Alpay was woeful though

I actually feel a bit sorry for Taylor, he has an impossible task, mediocre players, no money, best players want to leave and quite obviously their hearts arent in it, and of course deadly doug looking over his shoulder :(

What no LMW yet??

She must be in deep mourning Funkii :( :(
I live only 40 miles away from Villa and know of at least 6 people here in Shrewsbury who have given up their Season Tickets this year.

Graham Taylor was a terrible appointment.Doug must have got him on the cheap,no other explanation:)

All of DE's managerial appointments have been dire - best of the bad bunch IMO was Gregory

Funkii Munkii
22 October 2002, 16:09
Look at Gregory now!! it'll be Grimsby next stop for him, Gregory was a good manager who i think got arse f*cked by Ellis after he had to sell his best players and Villa under performed due to this IMHO, results went against him and it was see ya later, and they say Bates is a nightmare:rolleyes:

Redkop you're forgetting the legend Atkinson :p :D:D:D

Funkii Munkii

Redkop

Is much easier asking innit - than looking it up somewhere....cheers Funkii :D :D

I remember going to watch Villa v Man City about 13 years ago when he was manager, they had probs with the pitch and it was covered with GREEN sand - so it blended in :D Man City whopped them then - 5 - 0 IIRC
