I'm after a set of Mintex 1155 pads for my MY00 (standard four pot calipers). The part number is MDB14161155.

Wheres the cheapest place to buy these from mail order?

Cheers,

Ian.

Cheers Alyn. I've currently got 1155s and been fairly happy with them (apart from they generate a lot of dust which is difficult to get off). I'd consider alternatives such as Ferodo, etc. - what would you recommend? Please could you email the address in my profile with prices, etc when you get chance.

Thanks,

Ian.

Thumbs down

Ian i tried a set of 1155s, and also had a set of new oem discs fitted at the same time, bedded them in as per instructions and thought they were exellent apart from they sounded like they were chewing away at my new discs even when not braking, I don't drive hard but decided to get my dealer to check my front brakes, and to my horror the pads had detrioated from the edge in towards the middle and grooved my new discs so bad my dealer had to replace the discs again but now with 1144, The supplier who will remain nameless has eventully give me a full refund for both sets of pads said we will have to send the pads away to see why they basically fell in bits. My car is a MYOO and i had done just less than 1000 miles on these pads. Any one else had similer problems? Ady
