Moles Dad 10 October 2002, 21:18 I have now got HIDs in standard headlights (long story)...my question, as I have now only got dipped beam is it legal? Stuart Knight 16 October 2002, 16:55 When I fitted the single beam HID's in my MY94 WRX I was told that I would need to put the dual beam standard bulbs back in to pass the MOT. Don't know why. I was using driving lights as my main beam. Now converted to dual beam HID's so never had to test the MOT question. Dave T-S 16 October 2002, 17:21 Stuart They probably weren't E marked. They *MUST* be used with the main beam only.
