Then I used 2 long cable ties and wrapped one around the gauge body, took the tail of the tie and added another to extend it. The second tie was pushed down past the A pillar and clamped by the bonnet release catch. This holds the pod down securely without any messy glue. Works fine for me! Tim Catalunya 051 18 October 2002, 14:26 Do you guys know if that pod will fit a MY97? we have the b*st*rd lip that curves round the dash just where you want to put one! Brun 22 October 2002, 19:07 Don't know really. I suggest you give Scoobymania a call. Not much help, sorry! Mark Piesse 24 October 2002, 16:10 I used double sided body trim tape, as it was the only stuff I could find where the glue didn't dry out or go soft in direct sunlight. Had two attempts, because the first time got fingerprints on the tape and then it didn't stay stuck for long. Mark P UK300 |
