Have been told of a trick, take off gear knob and cut an inch off re-tap and fit knob back on, gives you better gear change ie short shift?
Anyone done this and will it work?
i have a sport limited edition with wrx interior, my Knob looks longer(oooohhhh) the sti's are shorter yes?

should work fine but not really a substitute for a quick-shift. www.j-w-racing.com (http://www.j-w-racing.com) do the quickshifts, and some machined aluminium gearknobs that screw on to the perfectly.
