I know someone has started a thread about fitting these gauges following the group buy, but I'll be fcuked if I can find it. Help please ;) Any information would be great!!
Can anyone suggest the best place to fit the EGT probe, does the manifold or downpipe have to be drilled and tapped ?
Cheers in advance, Phill C

I'd be interested on the fitment of the EGT gauge as well, as mine's just arrived.
They're going in my cossie, but there's no better gauges on the planet. Oil Pres. Oil Temp. and Boost were a piece of the proverbial to fit:

From what I can see it needs to go halfway down if not the bottom of the exhaust manifold  Not sure where the best place would be on a Scooby ;)
I can't believe the manuals aren't in English. Has anyone got a link to a set of English manuals ?

Phil.
EGT sensor ideally needs mounting pre turbo in the headers as that's where it's hottest. You will see varying temperature drops post turbo, but if fitting in the D/P, as close to the turbo as possible is best.
You will probably need to have your D/P off to have the sensor mount machined into it, (Unless you have a Scooby Mania D/P which we have pre-engineered to accommodate EGT fitment). ;)
On-line fitting instructions in English are HERE (http://www.defi-shop.com/product/dl/meter/meter_inst.htm)
Give us a call if you get stuck?
Mike.

Mike,
Thanks for all that information mate. All my new kit looks lovely ;) and can't wait to have it fitted on Saturday. EGT probe before the turbo, OMG that sounds like a bit of a job, but if that's where it needs to be, then so be it.
Does anyone have any pictures of the EGT probe fitted before the Turbo ?
I'm gathering information for my mechanic mate ;)
