View Full Version : Will Glenn Roeder walk, or will they push him?

Can only be a matter of time, surely?

The players have lost faith in him, the Board can't be far behind.

Shame to see West Ham struggling, IMO.

Were you shouting for him to be sacked at the end of last season when we finished in a very respectable position - even after a dreadful start to the season.

Be patient, chopping and changing managers doesn't work.

Football is down to the players on the pitch, all they have to do is concentrate 100% for 90 odd minutes.

West Ham have never been ones for hasty decisions - apart from Lou Macari........................

It'll come good.

If Roeder goes, pushed or otherwise, who do you think will come into replace him?

He was not given any money to strengthen the squad and has to get players on loan or free transfers. No decent high profile manager would accept this.

Most of the squad is a legacy of Harry " Got any cheap motors John" Redknapp, including quality "pie eaters" as Titi Camara (rumoured to be on the 2nd highest wage in the club, funny that as his agent is Redknapps son.)

The biggest problem with West Ham, and this is not new, is the board. 'They do not want too much success as this will bring about too much pressure', this is an actual comment from one of the directors to my father whilst in a business meeting in the mid eighties.

It is a sad fact that WHU will never be anything more than average while the current board is in control.

And I still spend in excess of £1000 a season watching them! Another sad fact.

I could go on forever but its Man City tommorrow and I need to get a good nights sleep tonight to save me falling asleep at about 3.30pm.

I agree 3 Times,I think the board should go.
Just look how much money Harry Harry Redknapp (on the wing!)has been allowed to spend at his new club.
The board has allways been tight for years.
