Want a bit better sound quality in the Scoob than offered by the standard speakers. Have got a Kenwood MP3 Unit (cant remember model number off the top of my head).

Would be looking at spending around £200 + fitting. Can anyone recomend some decent speaker brands/models as I am clueless when it comes to ICE?

Thanks,
Simon.

If you're in Cambridge, you could do a lot worse than go to cambridge car audio. They did cracking work with the empeg boys I believe.

No personal experience (or involvement) but I've seen 'em highly recommended elsewhere.

Ive had a few bits done buy them and they do great work but a tad pricey. My kenwood MP3 cost me £219 all in online and they still wanted £399 for it 6 months later!!!!

Have popped in with small niggles twice now and they've taken a look and fixed the fault free of charge.

So in a nutshell I will get them to fit but would like some idea of whats a good speaker setup for the money so I can check prices elsewhere?

I put Infinity 605CS components in the front - just like most others ;) these are highly rated - not sure if you can still buy them though - were about 100 quid. Rears I put in some Kenwood PSR70P (about 70 quid) as they have no magnets hardly and save weight ;) sounds nice - just gotta get a better h/u.

Fit yerself - fronts easy - backs a bit of a pig but not too hard!!

I fitted sony componets in mine - run the fronts from the head unit and backs and Sub from an amp - You even have a grill on the inside front door handle to put your tweeter behind! sounds very nice - just need a better sub.....£££££.....£££££
