Dad's after some kind of Sat Nav system. Looking around, cheapest I've seen is a basic Sony unit for £650, which isnt bad, but it's a normal din unit and i can't find much info on it..

How much would he need to spend to get a fold out screen stylee one? Are these much better than the standard din type ones, or are these just as good for the job? Anyone know of any recommendations of a cheap system?

If i were you i would get the alpine 1 DIN DVD navi - amazing. Nothing touches it at the price. It has the whole of europe on one disc and i've used it all over europe and it works so well.
